The MURDOCK Study Volunteer Program offers opportunities to community members willing to commit hours based on their own personal goals.   These individuals will join the team according to one of the following time frames dependent upon their own status:

  •  a 6‐month minimum with a commitment of at least 8 hours/month and a maximum number of hours determined by the volunteer
  • semester-based if the prospective volunteer is a student working to fulfill his/her academic obligation for service hours (e.g. nursing students)

Volunteers play a vital role in achieving our community engagement and retention goals.

Volunteers can serve a wide variety of functions within the MURDOCK Study team. If interested in our Volunteer Program, please fill out and submit the Volunteer Application.

Or contact Perla Nunes, Project Leader for Community Outreach and Engagement, (704) 250-5858 and/or perla.nunes@duke.edu for more information.
